Australian College of Dermatologists

Dr Bethany Croker is a qualified specialist Dermatologist who treats adult and paediatric patients. She is skilled in both medical and surgical dermatology and has an interest in acne, eczema, psoriasis, hyperhidrosis, autoimmune skin conditions and early detection and treatment of skin cancers. She is committed to high quality, patient-centred care.

Dr Croker obtained her medical degree from the University of Newcastle, where she graduated with Distinction and was awarded the Faculty of Health Medal in 2012. She undertook her specialist Dermatology training in adult and paediatric dermatology at Westmead Hospital, John Hunter Hospital, John Hunter Children’s Hospital, Lotus Dermatology and Coastal Dermatology. She is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Dr Croker has published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at rural, national and international conferences.

Having grown up in Tamworth, Dr Croker is happy to be back living and working in the local Tamworth community.

Dr Croker has joined an established medical practice in the Dowe Street Specialist rooms.
She will be consulting on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting in September 2024.

For Patients & Referrers

Appointments can be made with a referral from a general practitioner or specialist. Referrals can be sent by Medical Objects, email, fax or post. Once a referral is received, the patient will be contacted with their appointment details.

Patients will be eligible for a Medicare rebate with a valid referral. This is a non bulk-billing practice. Payment is requested at the time of appointment.

Parking is available on the street (two-hours) and in the Centrepoint Tamworth Car Park (one block away).

 

It is suggested that patients bring a list of their current medications and any relevant test results and reports.

Any cancellations should be done at the earliest convenience (at least 24 hours prior) so that the appointment can be offered to another patient.
